Senior Engineer - New Connectivity Design Hub (d/f/m) (Connectivity Systems)

What you will do

• Lead technically specific programmes and take ownership of connectivity integration and design activities.
• Define and design connectivity architectures for tactical datalinks, Satcom, Comms Managers, IFDL, IVDL and CCA C2 links.
• Support mainly German customer meetings and generate top-level requirements.
• Align connectivity solutions with domain strategy and national programme requirements.
• Select suppliers and prepare and analyse RFPs and RFIs together with Procurement.
• Define and validate L1/L2/L3 requirements, support interface definition, ensure traceability and coverage, and support L2/L3 system testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable studies.
• At least 9 years of professional experience.
• Senior expertise in connectivity systems such as Satcom.
• Senior expertise in system design and development.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with a strong team spirit.
• Fluent English.
