Spacecraft Tanks Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

MT Aerospace, a subsidiary of OHB, develops, manufactures, and tests aerospace components including cryogenic, fuel, and pressure tanks for launch vehicles, spacecraft, satellites, and aircraft.

What you will do

• Ensure technical requirements, deadlines, and budgets are met for spacecraft tank projects.
• Create and manage the requirements management process and develop product and technology plans.
• Plan and manage verification activities.
• Coordinate technical work across interdisciplinary teams, production development, and quality assurance.
• Represent technical matters to clients and prepare project-status documentation and presentations for project and line management.
• Manage the technical aspects of spacecraft tank quotations.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. TU/FH) or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in space systems or mechanical, thermal, and propulsion (MTP) subsystems.
• Good organisational skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to communicate technical content within interdisciplinary teams.
• Sound judgement regarding technical, economic, and scheduling matters.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ESA ECSS regulations.
• Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, MBSE, and SAP.
