New Connectivity Design Hub Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Manching, Germany; based in the Manching Design Office with mobile working and flexible working arrangements.

What you will do

• Define and design connectivity architectures for tactical datalinks, communications managers, IFDL, IVDL, and CCA C2 links.
• Develop connectivity systems end to end, from initial concept through final qualification, for Fighters, FCAS, CCAs, MuT, and A400M programs.
• Support mainly German customer meetings and generate top-level requirements.
• Align connectivity designs with the domain strategy and national program requirements.
• Support supplier selection, RFP and RFI generation and analysis together with Procurement.
• Define and validate L1/L2/L3 requirements, interfaces, traceability, coverage, and L2/L3 system test activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Communications, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or comparable studies.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Professional experience with connectivity systems such as Satcom.
• Experience in system design and development.
• Knowledge of systems engineering or connectivity, tactical datalinks, Satcom, or architecture definition.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a strong team spirit.
• Fluent English and German at C1 level.
