Project Logistician (Aerospace)

Location: Mainz, Germany; flexible hybrid arrangement balancing remote and on-site work. Willingness to travel and support projects on-site when required.

hirify.global GmbH develops and operates satellite ground systems, antennas, telescopes, IT systems, and applications for processing satellite-generated Earth observation and reconnaissance data.

What you will do

• Act as the central interface between logistics, production, and projects for project-related logistics topics.
• Implement and manage SAP-based material flow and material control processes in new projects.
• Ensure material availability according to production and project schedules while monitoring incoming materials and deliveries.
• Plan and manage material provisioning for production, project activities, and project close-out phases.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor shipping and transportation, including special transports and service providers.
• Support loading and unloading operations and accompany transports and campaign activities when required.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics, materials management, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid experience in logistics, material flow, or production environments with strong SAP user skills.
• Strong technical understanding and good German and English communication skills.
• Structured, independent, and highly organized working style with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience.
• Willingness to travel and support projects on-site when required.
