Senior AI Engineer (Applied Data)

What you will do

• Deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Build reusable production software products rather than one-off pipelines.
• Develop and support agentic AI systems using prompt design, structured outputs, function calling, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with developers and leadership, guide others, and contribute to engineering and architecture decisions.
• Work with CI/CD workflows, version control, APIs, and containerized services.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a data engineer, including end-to-end delivery in fast-paced environments.
• Professional fluency in English, excellent collaboration between developers and leadership, and the ability to guide others.
• Solid understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
• Strong production software engineering experience with Python, testing, CI/CD, REST, and Docker.
• Experience with at least one of Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, or BigQuery; strong SQL and data modelling skills; and the ability to work across the other platforms and quickly learn a partner's stack.
• AI engineering experience sufficient to build agentic systems, including prompt design, structured outputs, function calling, and evaluation with the Anthropic and OpenAI APIs.
• Experience with Git and comfort collaborating on CI/CD workflows.
