AI Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland; Flex work with at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners.

Base salary: €73,100–€109,600 EUR per year in Ireland; the role may also be eligible for a bonus plan, commission or bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Build and deploy AI-powered features that automate repetitive hirify.global implementation work and guide complex configuration tasks.
• Integrate AI/ML models, including LLM-based capabilities, into products from prototype through production.
• Contribute to infrastructure, pipelines, and monitoring for reliable AI systems at scale.
• Collaborate with Product Management, implementation teams, partners, and enablement to translate deployment challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Improve the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of deployed AI capabilities.
• Develop AI engineering practices within a newly established discipline and team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith, or willingness to quickly ramp up on these frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one other statically typed language such as Java, Scala, Rust, or C++.
• Hands-on experience building applications with Large Language Models.
• Exposure to agentic design patterns where an LLM uses tools to interact with its environment.
• Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and asynchronous task handling.
• Experience in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments; strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners; comfort with ambiguity; and ability to translate complex problems into clear solutions.
