Senior AI/ML Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland, with on-site attendance three days per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or the EU.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and Agentic AI systems for complex business challenges.
• Build scalable, production-ready AI applications and services, including data, ingestion, and memory pipelines.
• Apply MLOps, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, model governance, and versioning practices.
• Use cloud technologies and distributed architectures to deliver AI at scale.
• Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and other software components.
• Investigate complex technical challenges, track emerging AI technologies, and provide technical guidance and mentoring.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Excellent Python skills, with experience in C++ and/or SQL.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience building and deploying production ML/AI systems, with an understanding of LLMs, Agentic AI, and modern AI development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, and versioning.
• Experience with data pipelines, databases, and distributed processing technologies such as Spark or PySpark.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, microservices, testing, version control, and system design.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM tooling, AI agents, or the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC).
• Experience with MLflow, SageMaker, or similar MLOps platforms.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, or semantic data models.
• Experience with reinforcement learning, NLP, or computer vision.
