Delivery Lead – AI Data Projects

The company is a well-funded startup headquartered in Amsterdam with a globally distributed team and clients including AI labs, technology companies, startups, enterprises, and research organizations.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery across a complex portfolio, including data quality, timelines, client outcomes, unit economics, gross margin, and stakeholder reporting.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams and project managers, coordinating engineers, supply managers, researchers, science teams, product teams, and other functions.
• Oversee planning, resource allocation, communications, reporting, status updates, retrospectives, and execution standards.
• Partner with Business Development to scope opportunities, shape proposals, optimize delivery models, and transition prospects into commercially viable engagements.
• Build client relationships, manage technical stakeholders, resolve delivery challenges, and support client satisfaction and retention.
• Improve team performance and delivery operations by introducing processes, tools, workflows, and new ways of working.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the AI space, particularly within startups, including experience working with clients and managing teams or projects at scale.
• Experience managing complex projects across discovery, decomposition, scope planning, implementation, and adoption.
• Client-facing experience, with a consulting background reaching Engagement Manager or Associate Partner level.
• Deep understanding of AI and GenAI technology and market trends, plus basic knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data science, and data generation.
• BS or MS in a STEM field such as computer science, mathematics, or physics.
