NetSuite Systems Engineer (NetSuite)

Location: Remote in EMEA, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK, or the US East time zone.

What you will do

• Own and administer core financial systems, including NetSuite and the upcoming FloQast implementation, covering configuration, business logic, and system health.
• Identify and automate repetitive or error-prone finance operations such as month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and procure-to-pay.
• Define finance-domain business logic, canonical data definitions, and system sources of truth in partnership with engineering.
• Build cross-system integrations on a central, version-controlled, observable integration platform.
• Act as the technical systems partner for Finance and Accounting and own financial-vendor onboarding, configuration, and administration.
• Use modern AI tooling to draft automations and accelerate routine system work.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience administering a financial or ERP system, including hands-on NetSuite administration.
• Experience with NetSuite configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, workflows, custom records, custom fields, and automations.
• Experience with General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Accounts, and subsidiary or multi-location structures.
• Experience building SuiteFlow automations and managing the NetSuite integration ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of month-end close, reconciliation, accounts payable, procure-to-pay, and revenue processes.
• A demonstrated track record of automating repetitive manual work using scripting, saved searches, workflow automation, or low-code/iPaaS tools.
• Sound judgment about system configuration, cross-system integrations, and sources of truth for data.
• Comfort with at least one of SuiteScript, SQL, general scripting, or API-based automation, plus the ability to understand integrations built by engineering.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across Finance, Accounting, and Engineering, with the ability to translate between these functions.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• FloQast administration experience.
• Experience with a central integration platform or an event-driven environment.
• Experience using AI coding and automation tools in day-to-day work.
• Advanced SuiteScript knowledge, including SuiteScript 1.0 or 2.0, RESTlets, or NetSuite web services.
• Knowledge of another language.
