New Product Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Feldkirchen, Germany; onsite role with manufacturing, cleanroom, and physical work requirements. Travel is required 10% of the time.

Salary: €70,400–€96,800 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and release new product bills of materials for complex modules and product structures.
• Develop manufacturing, testing, and sourcing strategies for new products and manage operation method sheets for medium-complexity modules.
• Perform 3D solid-model virtual analysis, including Master Layout and Digital Mock Up, and contribute design-for-assembly, design-for-test, ITO, and operational-efficiency feedback.
• Manage change requests and change-control processes, including NSRs, ECOs, CCBs, SPSs, and ESWs.
• Document product issues, perform root-cause corrective analysis, lead long-term corrective actions, and manage build processes for programs and projects.
• Provide technical support and training to internal and contract manufacturing resources and piece-part suppliers.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of the New Product Manufacturing Engineer role.
• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the discipline integrates with other areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems, analyze multiple information sources, and apply judgment to existing and new solutions.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, lift, distinguish colors, and work in noisy environments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and wear required cleanroom personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
