HR & People Operations Expert (AI)

Location: Remote, global, with no geographic restrictions

Salary: $40–$90 per hour; up to $90/hour equivalent, with payment per approved task

What you will do

• Design realistic, multi-step benchmark tasks based on HR workflows, including payroll operations, workforce planning, HR policy application, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Develop clear instructions and objective grading criteria for consistent evaluation of AI systems’ reasoning, accuracy, and practical decision-making.
• Create tasks requiring sound judgment, accurate document interpretation, and practical HR decisions.
• Prepare supporting materials such as HR policies, payroll reports, headcount data, and employment agreements.
• Identify ambiguous or ungradable tasks and refine them before submission.
• Deliver high-quality, approved tasks within project deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll, workforce planning, HR policy, or employee lifecycle operations.
• Experience developing or applying structured standards, including HR policies, payroll checklists, process documentation, compliance frameworks, or training assessments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across spreadsheets, reports, and policy documents.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency at B2 level minimum.

Nice to have

• English proficiency at C1 level.
• HR certification such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or equivalent.
• Experience with AI or LLM evaluation.
