FP&A Analysts (AI)

Location: Fully remote; Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States.

Compensation: US$80–US$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements.

Develops realistic tasks and reference models for evaluating AI agents on business performance analysis and financial planning.

What you will do

• Design tasks covering budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow planning, unit economics, and scenario modeling.
• Build reference solutions with transparent formulas, documented assumptions, and reconciled financial outputs.
• Evaluate AI agents combining financial and operational data, identifying performance drivers, and updating forecasts.
• Define criteria for model integrity, calculation accuracy, analytical depth, and recommendation usefulness.
• Identify formula errors, inconsistent assumptions, double counting, and unsupported business conclusions.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning.
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with planning platforms, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or financial modeling across multiple business units.
