Senior Accounts Payable Accountant (Mandarin Speaker)

What you will do

• Process and validate invoices accurately and on time, including two-way and three-way matching of purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, invoices on hold, pending goods receipts, payment issues, and supplier inquiries.
• Analyze aging reports and open goods receipt reports for assigned entities and suppliers.
• Review and reconcile complex supplier statements of account against company records.
• Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Support Accounts Payable activities, continuous improvement initiatives, ongoing projects, compliance activities, audits, SOX requirements, and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable.
• Mandarin speaking ability.
• Strong understanding of financial software and ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of the Source-to-Pay business process, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliation and reporting, with sound judgment when handling complaints and confidential or sensitive issues.
• Ability to influence, coordinate, and manage the efforts of others; build trusted relationships across organizational levels; multitask; and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment or work-from-home setup.
