Retail Accounting Analyst

Location: Hybrid work model based at 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines; work remotely from home several days a week.

What you will do

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and exception handling for Company Owned Company Operated and Commission Agent stations, report exceptions, follow up on responses, and submit applicable reports.
• Perform monthly bank and assigned MOP account reconciliations; investigate reconciling items with in-country accountants and escalate them according to standards.
• Perform Shift Summary activities to generate Retail System general ledger entries and validate Retail System-to-SAP interfaces for wetstock sales transactions.
• Validate monthly Revenue and COGS interfaces, ensure station transactions are recorded, prepare adjustment journal entries, and submit post-close reports.
• Handle and monitor the group mailbox, support customer initiatives and projects, and perform other assigned daily activities.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documents according to legal requirements and corporate record retention policies; participate in process improvements, training, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or a related course.
• Demonstrated experience and background in finance, accounting, and/or audit work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Innovation mindset and passion for learning digital tools and technologies.
