Technical Buyer - Global Support (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Facilitate Asian component sourcing in line with hirify.global Group category-sourcing frameworks and business requirements.
• Lead sourcing activities from supplier identification and RFQ preparation through supplier evaluation, quotation comparison, and sourcing recommendations.
• Assess supplier capability, capacity, quality, delivery performance, technical compliance, and supply-chain risk.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support order confirmation verification, quality-issue resolution, and contingency planning for capacity or delivery constraints.
• Ensure approved pricing and commercial terms are implemented correctly in SAP purchase orders, maintain purchasing master data, and prepare reports on sourcing, savings, supplier performance, quality issues, and supply risks.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related supply-chain functions.
• Experience in a manufacturing or project-based environment is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, material standards, and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present data-driven insights and proposals.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels and functions.

Nice to have

• Procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain experience in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
