Head of Supply Chain Management

What you will do

• Lead the supply chain team in implementing global and hub procurement and logistics strategies, standards, and guidelines in Malaysia.
• Lead team leaders and drive organizational transformation, workforce development, diversity, digitalization, and end-to-end value chain orchestration.
• Ensure company-level implementation of procurement standards, regulations, and guidelines while considering business unit practices.
• Drive initiatives and collaborate with Functions, Business Units, global teams, and hub stakeholders.
• Own PVO, CNI, organizational costs, and indirect material procurement, focusing on cost, on-time delivery, and quality.
• Develop next-generation procurement capabilities through supplier collaboration and digital product transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 10 years of experience in at least two SCM roles, including buying professional, commodity manager, procurement team leader in project, product, or solution business, procurement digitalization initiative leader, or cost and value engineering.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with a cross-functional or cross-business move and coordinating the procurement ecosystem through platform development, flexible processes, digital transformation, and complexity management.
• Experience coaching agile teams, responding flexibly to changing requirements, overseeing the entire value chain, and building foundations for innovation.
• Experience leading in the digital age, challenging the status quo, fostering innovation, understanding digital vision, and increasing digital engagement.
• Excellent English communication skills for effective work in an international environment.
• Ability to act as a cultural architect, stay current with digital trends, and mobilize others around digital engagement.
• Enjoyment of continuous change and learning, with the ability to translate visions into specific actions.
