Accenture Construct - Operations & Maintenance Readiness Manager, ANS (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Develop and oversee O&M strategies, including service-model selection, performance standards, and coordination with PREPA and LUMA requirements.
• Lead O&M contractor RFQ/RFP processes, including scope drafting, bid evaluation, service-agreement negotiation, and coordination on commercial and ESSA compliance terms.
• Build and maintain procedures for normal operations, grid dispatch, BESS cycling, agrivoltaic interfaces, emergency response, and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate commissioning with the EPC contractor, Owner’s Engineer, and LUMA interconnection team, tracking pre-energization checklists, relay settings, SCADA integration, and grid-forming inverter milestones.
• Develop O&M readiness plans and staffing models covering organization structure, workforce planning, training, and go-live readiness aligned with FID and COD targets.
• Implement or configure the CMMS, including asset hierarchy, preventive maintenance schedules, spare-parts catalogs, and KPIs aligned with BESS warranties and PPOA/ESSA requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy O&M, asset management, or commissioning.
• Direct experience with megawatt-scale PV and BESS assets.
• Experience developing O&M strategies, service agreements, and operating procedures for utility-scale PV+BESS assets.
• Familiarity with lithium-ion BESS platforms such as CATL, Samsung SDI, BYD, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
