Area Warehouse Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; office and warehouse environments with approximately 60% overnight travel required.

Salary: $94,600–$130,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Manage operational and financial performance across assigned DSD hubs and warehouses, including 6–8 direct reports and 10–20 employees across multiple facilities.
• Create and manage the Annual Operating Plan and assigned KPIs while controlling inventory, warehouse expenses, stale and return credit accuracy, and facility costs.
• Oversee inventory reviews, stock audits, inventory accuracy, slow-moving and short-coded products, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure safety, quality, FDA, OSHA, SOX, and corporate operating standards are followed, with responsibility for safety program implementation and product integrity.
• Lead headcount planning, goal setting, hiring, training, performance management, employee relations, and development of warehouse management teams.
• Coordinate with senior warehouse management, sales, fleet services, common carriers, and transportation teams to improve routing, lead times, cube utilization, backhauls, and warehouse optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, provide strong customer service, adapt to change, handle stress, and maintain a professional image.
• Strong people skills and ability to work with different organizational areas and levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including cost and inventory strategy analysis, attention to detail, dynamic data analysis, and action planning.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, inventory software, and manufacturing software.
• Expert knowledge of hirify.global Snacks warehouse programs and systems, including High Jump, Oracle, JDA, and SAP.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds, sitting for most of the day, and occasional stooping or kneeling.
