Salary: $30–$35 per hour

What you will do
- Review, edit, fact-check, and adapt German music-related content according to style guides and localization guidelines.
- Improve AI-generated US-English source copy for clarity, coherence, creative impact, and cultural relevance.
- Research music terminology, artists, genres, and trends for market-specific adaptation.
- Provide feedback on written content and maintain consistency across audiovisual and digital surfaces.
- Work with client tools and workflows to support quality control.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in German.
- Proven copywriting experience.
- Proven experience editing or writing content related to various music genres.
- Familiarity with contemporary music terminology, trends, and industry conventions.
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different musical contexts and audiences.
- Awareness of cultural influences and regional preferences in music content.
- Strong awareness of pop culture, language, trends, and references used in mainstream and highly popular contexts.
- Ability to avoid overly formal or stiff tones and maintain relevance and authenticity.
- Deep understanding of Pop/Rock, Hip-Hop, and K-Pop.
Nice to have
- Published work on Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NME, or similar platforms.
- Experience with music streaming services, editorial platforms, or music-focused apps.
- Ability to adapt voice and style for Gen Z and pop culture audiences.
