Pre-Sales Forward Deployed Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Hybrid in Palo Alto, California, United States. Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50% is optional.

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 OTE annually.

What you will do

• Run discovery with strategic prospects and customers, identify agentic use cases with real business value, and build proofs of concept on the hirify.global Loops agentic platform within weeks.
• Present hands-on technical walkthroughs to architects and business cases to C-level stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Executives on technical validation and work with product and engineering teams to convert recurring customer patterns into native platform capabilities.
• Feed field learnings into the hirify.global Loops product roadmap and use judgment to scope focused, buildable proofs of concept.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping.
• Train core presales teams on platform and digital-worker capabilities and run workshops globally.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles, including discovery, demos, proofs of concept, objection handling, and moving technical evaluations toward decisions.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, including multi-agent design, tool use, human-in-the-loop patterns, and platforms such as Agent Studio or comparable orchestration tools.
• Understanding of asset-intensive industries, including Enterprise Asset Management, Field Service Management, Manufacturing, or Aerospace & Defense.
• Ability to communicate credibly with developers working deeply with APIs and CEOs evaluating risk and ROI.
• Product-oriented judgment to distinguish one-off customer requests from patterns worth building into the platform.
• Genuine interest in customer-facing whiteboard sessions and solving complex customer problems.

Nice to have

• Experience in a forward-deployed, applied AI, or founding engineering role at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
• Experience translating field learnings into product requirements or roadmap input.
• Deep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and agent evaluation frameworks.
• Experience selling or deploying software into asset-intensive or regulated industries, including aerospace and defense, energy, or manufacturing.
• Former founder or builder experience shipping products from 0 to 1.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.
