Public Accountants (AI Training)

Location: Fully remote from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States

Compensation: US$80–US$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements

hirify.global develops accounting-focused tasks and evaluations for AI agents performing client accounting workflows.

What you will do

• Create tasks covering bookkeeping review, adjusting entries, trial balance preparation, financial statements, and client accounting queries.
• Develop reference solutions that reconcile source documents to final outputs and explain accounting judgments.
• Evaluate AI agents as they organize incomplete records, correct misclassifications, reconcile accounts, and prepare client deliverables.
• Define scoring criteria for technical accuracy, consistency, documentation, and client communication clarity.
• Identify missing information and assess whether agents request clarification or state reasonable assumptions.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise.
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or providing accounting services to external clients.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and applicable accounting standards.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent software.
• Fluent English and strong written communication skills.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience serving multiple clients, industries, or jurisdictions.
