IT Business Relationship Manager (Quality & R&D)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global locations in Des Plaines, Illinois and Lake County, Illinois; not a remote role.

Base pay: $99,300.00–$198,700.00 per year; the range may vary by specific location.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary IT relationship partner for Quality and Research & Development, with secondary support for Commercial functions.
• Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities.
• Translate business needs into requirements, solution options, and technology roadmaps.
• Support demand intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, and technology investment decisions.
• Coordinate project and enhancement delivery, including requirements, testing, stakeholder engagement, and adoption.
• Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, and application teams while supporting application lifecycle management, issue resolution, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT, business relationship management, business systems, consulting, product management, or project delivery.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional business and IT initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, privacy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting Quality systems, compliance processes, or Quality Management functions.
• Experience supporting R&D, laboratory operations, product development, or scientific data environments.
• Experience supporting Commercial organizations and customer-facing capabilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, analytics, workflow, content management, and integration technologies.
