Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime Consulting Senior Manager (FinTech)

Location: Hybrid; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. hirify.global is not sponsoring work authorization.

Salary: $133,700–$281,800 per year, with geographic differentials applicable to the position location.

What you will do

• Lead complex financial crime and regulatory compliance consulting engagements for financial institutions, FinTechs, and other regulated organizations.
• Oversee compliance testing, audits, risk assessments, program reviews, regulatory gap analyses, and remediation initiatives.
• Assess governance, policies, procedures, controls, monitoring processes, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Advise clients on BSA/AML, sanctions, regulatory expectations, compliance technology, analytics, and automation.
• Manage engagement scope, timelines, quality, deliverables, teams, and client relationships.
• Present findings to senior and executive stakeholders, mentor teams, and support methodology development, practice development, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant financial crime, compliance, audit, risk, or consulting experience.
• Experience leading complex consulting, audit, testing, or remediation engagements.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML and financial crime compliance requirements.
• Experience assessing and enhancing regulatory compliance programs and controls.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Experience managing teams, workstreams, and concurrent engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Nice to have

• CAMS, CRCM, CFE, or similar certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience serving banks, FinTechs, payment providers, broker-dealers, asset managers, or similar institutions.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations, remediation, or enforcement-related engagements.
• Experience with transaction monitoring, screening, customer risk rating, GRC, or compliance analytics.
• Experience with digital assets, cryptocurrency, stablecoins, tokenized assets, custody, or blockchain-enabled payments.
• Familiarity with blockchain analytics, digital-asset monitoring, custody controls, and related regulatory expectations.
