Principal System and Application Engineer (Wireless Connectivity)

Location: Caen, France; willingness to travel required.

hirify.global develops wireless connectivity products operating above 50 GHz with multi-gigabit high-speed interfaces.

What you will do

• Lead technical customer engagements from product evaluation through production.
• Define system use cases and reference architectures.
• Develop evaluation kits, demo platforms, hardware design kits, reference designs, and technical materials.
• Write and review application notes, design guides, and user manuals.
• Validate products at system level and support complex customer debugging.
• Train customers and field engineers, contribute customer input to product definition and roadmap discussions, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or BS with equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in systems, applications, or hardware engineering.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces including USB, DisplayPort, and eUSB2.
• Strong knowledge of I²C, SPI, and UART.
• Experience with RF or mmWave systems.
• Strong hands-on laboratory and board-level debugging skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel.

• Antenna design experience.
