Senior Finance Systems Developer (NetSuite/Zuora)

What you will do

• Support the AI-driven development, implementation, configuration, customization, and maintenance of enterprise finance systems, primarily NetSuite, Zuora, Stripe, Zip, and related applications.
• Drive adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to optimize and redesign accounting workflows.
• Partner with Finance, AP, AR, IT, accounting engineering, and business systems stakeholders on data analysis, process mapping, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Manage system access, roles, permissions, segregation of duties, data integrity, security, change management, and release processes.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, user training, system-status communication, and performance monitoring for Finance users across Europe, with support for the Middle East and APAC.
• Support onboarding of additional business units and acquired subsidiaries onto Suite Billing, Zuora Billing, and related quote-to-cash systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Finance System administration, configuration, and third-party integrations in complex environments, focused on NetSuite and Zuora.
• Ability to integrate AI tools into workflows and demonstrate efficiency or quality improvements; ongoing development of AI skills, including prompt/context engineering and Claude Plugin/Skills.
• Hands-on experience with roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, SuiteScripts, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL, CSV imports, user provisioning, role definitions, analytics, JavaScript, and script scheduling.
• Strong background in data analytics, reporting, and database management, with SQL and NetSuite preferred.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles, financial reporting concepts, O2C and P2P business processes, system requirements, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of hire-to-retire processes and system access management.
• Experience in project management, system implementation, and integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• NetSuite and/or Zuora certification.
