Lead Technical Business Central Consultant (Finance & Integrations)

Location: Remote-first in the UK with occasional UK travel required.

Salary: £70,000–£75,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central finance implementations from discovery through go-live.
• Own finance workstreams, including configuration, process design, and solution delivery.
• Design and specify integrations between Business Central and external platforms using REST APIs, OData, web services, and middleware.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Lead customer workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly finance functionality.
• Proven experience leading finance workstreams or delivering end-to-end Business Central implementations.
• Good understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, purchasing, sales, VAT, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations, REST APIs, OData, and web services.
• Understanding of authentication methods, including OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, or Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure integration services, including Logic Apps, Functions, or Service Bus.
• Understanding of AL development, extensions, and API pages.
• Experience integrating Business Central with CRM, banking, payroll, e-commerce, or other third-party platforms.
