Manufacturing Engineer II

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for daily production, quality control, problem solving, cost reduction, and delivery objectives.
• Review production processes and recommend changes to working methods and operation sequences to improve efficiency.
• Support maintenance with troubleshooting of manufacturing processes, tools, and dies.
• Develop and maintain labor standards for complex operations and track plant metrics.
• Support training, provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, and coordinate with Production, Quality, supervisors, employees, and support teams.
• Implement the hirify.global Operating System, develop Lean Manufacturing quality projects, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and cost.

Requirements

• Ability to provide engineering support in a manufacturing operation and troubleshoot processes, tools, and dies.
• Ability to analyze data, identify problems and opportunities, create solutions, manage multiple tasks, set priorities independently, and work quickly.
• Ability to communicate ideas confidently, gain support, follow established methods, and collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, supervisors, employees, and vendors.
• Compliance with ISO 9001:2015 management requirements and applicable health and safety responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing operation using a Lean system.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications.
• Bilingual skills.
