Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico; onsite. The role will initially be associated with the existing Nuevo Laredo work location and will transition to a new facility within approximately five miles when it opens.

What you will do

• Support production, cost, quality, safety compliance, and environmental requirements in manufacturing.
• Identify and implement enhancements and modifications to equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor equipment and process reliability and address problem areas.
• Analyze engineering change notices, determine required part or process changes, and implement them.
• Provide engineering support for the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, and facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English.
• 5–7 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering, manufacturing processes, equipment and process support, and engineering standards.
• Basic understanding of collaborative automation, including cobot concepts, benefits, applications, and differences from traditional robots.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles, tools for identifying waste, and implementation benefits and risks.
• Basic understanding of structured problem-solving, problem reporting, escalation, analysis, and resolution procedures.
