R&D Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Wildwood, Missouri, United States; other listed locations include Raleigh, North Carolina, and Anoka, Minnesota.

Compensation range: $89,300–$165,800 per year, with potential annual incentives depending on the position.

What you will do

• Apply engineering design and development techniques to complex design, analysis, experimentation, testing, and product assurance tasks.
• Perform specialized technical analyses, solve difficult engineering problems, and contribute to engineering model development and improvement.
• Conduct technical studies for sophisticated engineering and scientific problems.
• Support project leaders by developing product specifications, technical documents, and test procedures.
• Participate in kaizen activities and collaborate with multifunctional groups to achieve common goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in electronics or electrical design and/or product development.
• Experience with hands-on testing and verification using engineering methods and equipment.
• Experience using laboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, logic analyzers, and data acquisition equipment.
• Experience with circuit board design and fabrication, including familiarity with schematics and layout.
• Experience in systems engineering and system architecture development.
• Solid understanding of Cortex ARM processor architectures.
• Experience using Matlab, Simulink, LabVIEW, PSpice, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with Altium or comparable electronic design software.

• Experience with high-voltage power distribution and control systems.
