(Associate) Product Manager - Client Data & Onboarding (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or Munich, Germany. Opportunity to work from abroad is available, and international relocation support is provided if required.

What you will do

• Partner with software engineers, designers, operations, and domain experts to scope, build, and ship reliable client journeys and internal capabilities.
• Improve how clients provide, review, and update essential personal information and declarations.
• Develop products and processes for accurately recording and transparently managing client data, statuses, blocks, and lifecycle events.
• Conduct user research, analyse feedback and metrics, and write user stories and product specifications.
• Work with legal, risk, compliance, and client service stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable digital products.
• Track product and operational metrics after launch, identify improvements, and optimise customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Initial experience through relevant internships, working student positions, or entry-level roles in product management, consulting, operations, or a fast-growing startup, ideally in fintech, banking, or other complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Figma, plus familiarity with user story creation and rapid prototyping.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to bridge technical, operational, and business discussions across engineers, stakeholders, and executives.
• Solution-oriented and proactive approach, strong ownership, attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability, continuous willingness to learn, and genuine interest in digital products, technology, and investing or finance.
• Fluent English is required as the company language.
