Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid setup with 2 days a week in the office and up to 4 remote calendar weeks per year.

What you will do

• Own key parts of the reporting product and its workflows from roadmap through execution.
• Ensure investor-facing numbers are accurate across data capture, calculations, reports, and the LP portal.
• Translate domain requirements into clear product specifications covering inputs, transformations, outputs, and edge cases.
• Partner with engineering on scalable report-generation building blocks, including templates, data contracts, and versioning.
• Collaborate with design, fund accounting, operations, and customer-facing teams to improve reporting setup, review, correctness, and time-to-report.
• Define success metrics covering adoption, report quality, operational efficiency, and reliability while maintaining data integrity and traceability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience building B2B fintech products.
• Strong product execution skills, including shipping, iteration loops, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting fundamentals and how each number traces back to a source; experience in accounting, banking, payments, treasury, or financial data products is relevant.
• Ability to turn complex requirements into simple product surfaces and clear product logic.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to define metrics, investigate root causes, and make data-informed tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing clear specifications and collaborating with technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience working closely with engineering on systems requiring reliability, monitoring, and rigorous edge-case handling.

Nice to have

• Exposure to fund or investment reporting, including NAV, capital accounts, fees, IRR, TVPI, or DPI.
