Product Design Lead (AI)

Location: Remote USA

Compensation: $150k–$170k annually

What you will do

• Shepherd the product vision for AI-powered features and experiences for a client operating at the intersection of enterprise technology and consumer products.
• Own distinct workstreams with direction from the design director, bringing clarity and momentum to complex design work.
• Design AI-powered product experiences, considering edge cases, failure states, trust signals, and incomplete, incorrect, or unexpected AI output.
• Deliver visual design, UI, and UX work, including high-fidelity prototypes, production-ready designs, annotations, wireframes, and other artifacts.
• Partner with product management, engineering, development, designers, teammates, and senior-level clients on consumer-facing solutions.
• Adapt between rapid iteration and optimization and long-horizon product thinking while proactively ideating with teammates and clients.

Requirements

• Product design experience in an agency or related environment designing native iOS and Android applications and websites.
• Demonstrated experience designing AI-enabled product features, surfaces, flows, or moments where AI meaningfully changes the user experience as a functional design challenge.
• Fluency with AI tools in design practice and workflows, using them to move faster, think broader, and explore more.
• Experience leading workstreams, giving direction to others, and making decisions based on collective input and feedback.
• Experience delivering user-focused solutions in high-complexity enterprise technology or consumer product categories.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present design work internally and to senior-level clients.
• Experience working in agile product design and development models.
• Comfort working with and activating against enterprise-scale design systems.
