Associate University Recruiter

Location: San Mateo, California, US. Full-time work in the IXL headquarters office is required.

Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and recruiting colleagues to understand hiring needs and support university recruiting programs.
• Manage recruiting cycles for entry-level technical openings.
• Build long-term relationships with high-caliber candidates and maintain strong talent pipelines.
• Develop candidate closing strategies and provide the information needed for informed decisions.
• Deliver a seamless, personalized candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
• Represent IXL at university career fairs and events and communicate its products, roles, and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of recruiting experience.
• Strong ability to identify talent and connect candidates with suitable opportunities.
• Self-motivated, driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage changing priorities accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and stakeholders.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Greenhouse or another applicant tracking system.
• Genuine interest in understanding technology and passion for education.
