Forward Deployment Engineer (SingleStore)

Location: Remote-US; customer-facing role with preference for candidates based in the NYC area or within a commutable distance.

Base salary: $120,000–$200,000 USD per year for candidates based in the United States.

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand architectures, use cases, and business goals, translating them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions integrating hirify.global with existing applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Lead whiteboard sessions, define architectures, and convert concepts into technical specifications and execution plans.
• Own high-impact initiatives from concept through production and provide hands-on troubleshooting, optimization, and pragmatic fixes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to align customer needs with product capabilities and roadmap.
• Prioritize and operationalize customer data initiatives while feeding engagement insights back into Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, solution engineering, or technical consulting, including pre-sales and/or post-sales work.
• Strong foundation in databases, distributed systems, or software engineering.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade solutions in customer-facing environments.
• Experience integrating complex systems across data pipelines, applications, and infrastructure.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and drive execution.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to guide technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance technical innovation with pragmatic delivery and realistic scoping, while aligning solutions with product capabilities and roadmap.
• Willingness and ability to work in a customer-facing role.
