Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; full-time onsite role.

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and implement code for existing and new applications and systems.
• Analyze project requirements and create technical specifications.
• Perform unit, system, and quality assurance testing with users and QA; resolve reported defects and issues.
• Create system, procedural, and code documentation and train end users as required.
• Assist with defining project requirements and mentor members of development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a programming and application systems environment, including SQL and Java.
• Experience with Java, SQL, PL/SQL or PSQL, Python, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Experience with SDLC development methodologies, including Agile.
• Experience mentoring members of development teams.
