DevOps Engineer (overall)

Location: Lisbon, Porto, Braga or Coimbra, Portugal; hybrid work with 2 days per week at the office.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
• Manage and evolve cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes or equivalent platforms.
• Automate build, test, release, and operational workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, security, and quality practices to ensure system reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, drive preventive improvements, support development teams, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and development teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of solid experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift, including Helm Charts.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with artifact management and security or quality tools, including Nexus, Harbor, SonarQube, Vault, SAST, or DAST.
• Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CKA or AWS/Azure certifications.
• Experience in enterprise environments.
