Software Engineer Lead

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; in-office position.

What you will do

• Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Propose and design software solutions for complex business needs and prepare technical and procedural documentation.
• Facilitate complex problem resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
• Review software coding, testing, and documentation.
• Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service.
• 3+ years of relevant direct industry experience.
• Knowledge and skills in application delivery processes, application design, architecture, application development tools, application testing, packaged application integration, system development life cycle, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to demonstrate customer focus and align business decisions with customer needs and satisfaction.
• Ability to assess and manage risks in accordance with hirify.global's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• No required certifications, licenses, or language assessments.
• Must work in the Pittsburgh office; hirify.global will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Nice to have

• Application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvements, release management, software solutions, and user experience design.
• Certifications may be desired.
