Training Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $58,000–$87,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible

What you will do

• Develop and conduct interactive general and specialized training workshops for employees at all levels.
• Customize training programs and update course materials to meet specific learning needs.
• Schedule and coordinate the training calendar and prepare workbooks, handouts, case studies, role plays, and videos.
• Record training hours and test scores, and support consistency in training processes.
• Grade assignments, provide feedback, and coach employees throughout training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, collect and interpret feedback data, report findings, and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training and Development, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant business experience.
• No certification or licensure is required.
