Senior Analytics & Insights Associate (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Chicago, IL 60607, United States; other company locations include Irving, TX 75062 and Centennial, CO 80111.

Salary: $88,900–$155,500 per year; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Analyze large, complex, and disparate healthcare datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Develop, refine, and validate performance measures, benchmarking methodologies, and analytical models for healthcare quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.
• Design reports, dashboards, presentations, visualizations, and stakeholder-ready narratives that communicate findings and recommendations.
• Validate, reconcile, and monitor data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Perform custom analyses addressing client needs and strategic initiatives, including clinical, operational, utilization, workforce, and financial analysis.
• Automate and standardize analytical workflows, reporting processes, and data management practices to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in healthcare analytics, decision support, consulting, or a related analytical discipline, including analysis of large, complex, and disparate healthcare datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, stakeholder-focused recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting analytical insights to technical and business audiences.
• Understanding of healthcare financial performance, including budget performance, service line economics, productivity metrics, reimbursement, margin analysis, and relationships among volume, quality, access, workforce, and financial outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience developing performance measures, benchmarking methodologies, analytical models, and reporting solutions.
• Experience with Databricks, Python, SAS, and business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience automating analytical workflows and reporting processes.
• Experience working with healthcare data sources including claims, EHR, operational, quality, utilization, and financial data.
