Senior BSA – BSA/AML & Financial Crimes Technology

Location: Four days onsite at Seneca One in Buffalo, New York, United States, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Salary: $85,800–$143,000 annual (USD).

What you will do

• Serve as a senior BSA/AML subject matter expert for financial-crimes business and technology initiatives.
• Lead complex analysis, requirements elicitation, impact and gap analysis, solution design, and dependency assessment.
• Translate BSA/AML investigations, alerts, cases, SAR processes, and regulatory reporting needs into business and technology requirements.
• Develop requirements, user stories, process flows, data mappings, use cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Support functional, system-integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing, including defect triage, data validation, implementation, and post-production verification.
• Analyze financial-crime use cases involving digital assets, blockchain transactions, and digital wallets; apply and validate AI-assisted analysis responsibly.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of combined higher education and/or operational or business analytics experience in the BSA/AML domain.
• Experience with BSA/AML, financial-crimes investigations, case management, SAR-related processes and workflows, alert and case lifecycles, financial-crimes technology, and business and functional requirements analysis.
• Experience with digital assets, blockchain, and digital wallets, plus proficiency with AI-assisted tools.
• Experience with business impact analysis, gap analysis, data and functional validation, regression and UAT support, cutover, and post-implementation validation.

Nice to have

• Experience in BSA/AML, financial crimes, compliance, banking, financial services, or supporting technology organizations.
• Experience with enterprise BSA/AML or financial-crimes platforms and hands-on experience with financial-crimes case-management solutions.
• Ability to work independently on complex, cross-functional initiatives and communicate with investigators, business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, architects, testing teams, and technology leadership.
• Strong business and systems-analysis, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into actionable technology requirements and working with business-critical applications and complex enterprise integrations.
• Experience in Agile technology-delivery environments.
• Knowledge of digital-asset and blockchain-related financial-crimes considerations.
