TL;DR
GTM Systems Engineer (AI) (Salesforce/Python/TypeScript): Building the architecture and internal platform connecting Salesforce, billing, product data, finance systems, and the data warehouse with an accent on automation, data correctness, and AI tooling. Focus on designing lead-to-cash workflows, integrating event-driven systems, and establishing reliable, tested, observable GTM services.
Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States

What you will do
- Own the architecture and technical roadmap of the GTM stack, connecting Salesforce, billing and finance systems, product data, and the data warehouse.
- Automate lead and account routing, territory assignment, approval flows, quote-to-cash processes, and commission inputs.
- Build internal tools and AI agents for account research, call preparation, data enrichment, and Salesforce hygiene.
- Own the reliability, observability, and correctness of GTM data pipelines and integrations.
- Establish version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation standards for Salesforce and related services.
- Help hire and mentor engineers joining the GTM systems team.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience, including senior ownership of production systems.
- Experience designing systems end to end and leading projects from scoping through release with little oversight.
- Strong skills in Python or TypeScript, plus SQL.
- Deep experience integrating with Salesforce, including REST/Bulk APIs, Apex, Flows, or platform events, or with similar business systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP, event-driven pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
- An owner’s mindset, care for data correctness, and the ability to turn vague problems from non-technical stakeholders into shipped solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience as the first engineer on an internal tools or business systems team.
- Experience building with LLMs and agent frameworks.
- Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, another billing system, CPQ, or reverse-ETL tools such as Hightouch or Census.
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, or similar data infrastructure.
