Associate Director, Project Management (Commercial Interior Fit-Out)

Location: On-site in Manhattan, New York, five days per week.

Salary: $142,000–$195,000 per year, depending on experience, skill set, and education.

hirify.global is hiring for project management of commercial interior fit-out projects, with responsibility for client representation and project delivery.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, reporting, forecasting, change management, and procurement support.
• Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, leading meetings, reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring safety, permitting, regulatory compliance, and quality delivery.
• Lead experienced project management teams and contribute to business strategy.

Requirements

• Extensive project management experience delivering large-scale and complex construction projects or programmes.
• Experience in pre- and post-contract project management specifically within commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Confidence leading meetings and advising senior client stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing project management teams.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.
• Availability to work on-site in Manhattan, New York, five days per week.
