Launch Associate Principal

Location: New York City or San Francisco, United States. Requires willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Salary: $95,000–$115,000; final salary depends on experience, knowledge, and skills. Equity and variable pay are not included.

What you will do

• Launch new hirify.global services, managing technology implementation and operational setup.
• Define and manage KPIs covering on-time performance, rider satisfaction, safety, and cost efficiency, and turn performance data into operational decisions.
• Lead a 30+ person team of field operators and drivers during launch, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and culture setting.
• Build and train frontline leadership for long-term operations.
• Manage relationships with transit agency partners, community stakeholders, local officials, and riders.
• Drive improvements across vehicle operations, maintenance protocols, service delivery, costs, efficiency, and new product lines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, consulting, strategy, technology, or a field involving meaningful client accountability, with demonstrated ability to lead major projects and develop teams.
• Ownership mentality, including planning ahead, managing risks, designing preventive processes, and identifying and fixing problems.
• Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and inspire people from drivers to transit agency CEOs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, delegate, prioritize, and take responsibility.
• Strong attention to detail and operational judgment, with comfort working in spreadsheets and in the field.
• Ability to manage complex, high-stakes stakeholder and partner relationships that are not fully under your control.
• Alignment with the mission of public agencies serving communities that may have no other transportation options.
• Flexibility and adaptability in rapidly changing situations.
