Product Owner, Wealth Digital Experience (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; work from 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then from 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required. The role requires accommodating meetings across various time zones, including early mornings and evenings.

Total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target performance bonus, ranges from $105,000 to $123,000 CAD based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Represent business priorities and manage product delivery on a cross-functional scrum team.
• Set product vision and direction, develop the roadmap, and prioritize the backlog, epics, and stories.
• Lead user research and testing, define feature requirements, document use cases, and write epics and stories.
• Collaborate with technology, design, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, and other business partners to implement system and journey enhancements.
• Use data to guide roadmap decisions, evaluate feature implementations and releases, conduct UAT, and participate in sprint retrospectives.
• Support business planning, reviews, process documentation, training materials, and job aids with relevant partners.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an agile product-management environment as a product owner, business analyst, or in an equivalent role.
• Experience with agile product management, Jira, Design Thinking, and user research.
• Experience in financial services and wealth management.
• University degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to understand client, advisor, and business needs and translate strategic objectives into action.
• Ability to develop product-feature vision and break it into clear epics and stories with business value and acceptance criteria.
• In-depth knowledge of agile product-management processes and principles, with strong organizational, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and maintain dynamic digital products and solutions.
• Ability to influence and motivate colleagues without formal authority, remove blockers, and build relationships with senior management, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Current work authorization for Canada.

• Verbal and written bilingualism in English and French.
• Scrum or Product Owner certification.
