Sr. Advisor, Product Management (VOIE)

Location: Burlington, Canada; hybrid, with responsibilities performed virtually and in person at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week.

Salary: $131,000–$182,000 annually, plus applicable variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the multi-year strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, launch, iteration, and scale of Canadian Income and Employment Verification products.
• Balance customer value, regulatory constraints, data supply, technical feasibility, pricing, packaging, and business outcomes.
• Lead market assessments, customer discovery, user-journey design, experimentation, usability testing, Voice of Customer activities, and A/B testing.
• Partner with technology and operations to source, normalize, and enrich payroll and HCM data, while defining data-quality thresholds and SLAs.
• Oversee API design, developer tools, developer experience, monitoring, analytics, coverage, match rates, pass rates, fallbacks, and compliance metrics.
• Enable Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success; define launch readiness and rollout plans; maintain product documentation and backlog; and drive cross-functional agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is preferred.
• 7–10+ years of Product Management experience in VOIE, credit reporting, financial services, building data, and/or compliance-heavy products.
• Experience shipping products handling sensitive data with strong privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in experimentation, analytics, and metric design, including conversion funnels, cohort analysis, and A/B testing.
• Deep experience with agile product methodologies and structured product development life cycles (PDLC).
• Strong understanding of the Canadian credit ecosystem.
• Strong technical acumen with APIs, data pipelines, identity resolution, monitoring and observability, and platform reliability.
• Ability to use data to solve critical business issues, lead, influence, work autonomously, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer focus, exceptional written and verbal communication, and the ability to translate complexity into clarity while collaborating across matrixed, cross-functional teams.
