Jr. UI Developer (React/Svelte)

hirify.global is hiring for its Research & Development – Technology department.

What you will do

• Develop, update, and maintain responsive UI components and branding.
• Write maintainable HTML, CSS with SASS and utility classes, and basic JavaScript, including exposure to React and Svelte.
• troubleshoot, debug, and fix styling and UI-related issues across browsers and devices.
• Configure client white-labeling, templates, and basic event workflows.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and Product Management, and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional web development experience, or equivalent experience through bootcamps, internships, or robust portfolio projects.
• Solid fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors such as SASS.
• Basic understanding of vanilla JavaScript and eagerness to learn modern frameworks such as React and Svelte.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to asking questions, learning, and growing as a developer.

Nice to have

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Exposure to Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
• Basic awareness of web accessibility and WCAG standards.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• General understanding of how APIs or backend systems such as Java interact with frontend code.
