Front-end Developer (Layout & UI) (React)

Location: Remote; Baku, Azerbaijan

Dukascopy is a Swiss bank with a large international development team building projects used by real customers.

What you will do

• Build responsive, cross-browser websites and landing pages from Figma designs.
• Implement animations, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Write clean, readable code following the KISS principle.
• Participate in frontend tasks from initial discussion through release.
• Review and test your own work before handoff.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial development experience.
• Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills, including semantic markup, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive layout.
• Experience with Sass or Less.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with Git and teamwork through code review.
• Good UI/UX judgment, including the ability to identify awkward interfaces and suggest improvements.
• Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good Russian, as Russian is the team’s working language.

Nice to have

• Experience with CSS animations, GSAP, or similar tools.
• PWA experience.
• Redux or Redux-Saga.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility and page-speed optimization.
• English.
