TL;DR

Java Software Engineer with German (Java/AI): Building and scaling high-performance backend applications, microservices, and REST APIs with an accent on Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, clean code, and AI-assisted engineering. What you will do

Design, build, and scale high-performance backend applications, microservices, and REST APIs using modern frameworks.
Use AI-assisted development tools to optimize code, generate tests, and accelerate debugging.
Develop clean, SOLID, and highly testable code through robust CI/CD workflows.
Collaborate with QA engineers, architects, and stakeholders in an international agile environment.

Requirements

3+ years of professional Java experience.
Production experience with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and unit testing.
Professional German proficiency at B1–B2 level.

Nice to have

Python for scripting, automation, or data handling.
Practical experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor, or openness to integrating them into development practices.
Experience with container tools such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
