Java Developer with Italian

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; in-person collaboration with flexibility to support different work styles and circumstances.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and testable Java/JEE code.
• Contribute to technical solution design and development planning.
• Provide accurate estimates, timeframes, and technical task assessments.
• Create robust unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and share technical expertise.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in spoken and written Italian for communication with Italian-speaking teams and clients.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Java/JEE development.
• Solid experience with object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem.
• Knowledge of relational databases and ORMs.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
• Familiarity with payroll and financial business processes.
