Senior People Partner

Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid workplace.

Base salary: $180,000–$215,000 per year. Additional compensation may include Amazon RSUs, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, and a sign-on bonus.

Zoox is developing a fully autonomous vehicle fleet and supporting ecosystem at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and design.

What you will do

• Advise business leaders on organizational design and effectiveness, workforce planning, talent practices, compensation, employee relations, and learning and development.
• Lead organizational transformations and design organizations aligned with business strategy.
• Drive onboarding, performance management, high-potential development nominations, compensation planning, engagement survey action planning, and recognition programs.
• Manage projects, meet deadlines and objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a People Partner or HRBP.
• Experience building relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to the enhancement and scaling of programs.
• Demonstrated change management and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, consulting, teamwork, and influencing skills.
• Strong judgment in assessing employee and business risk.
• Knowledge of compensation strategies and packages that include equity.
• Experience in organizational design and development.
• Ability to quickly develop business acumen, work through ambiguity, drive results, and operate as a systems thinker.
• Ability to partner effectively across the People Experience team and with legal, finance, and communications.
• Breadth and depth of understanding of HR industry best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in centers of excellence outside the People Partner domain.
